Bring on the lawsuits

I’m sure most of you have seen the news reports about personal audio devices, loud music and their connection to hearing loss. Most of you should also have figured out that you shouldn’t play your music at decibels that can damage your hearing even though the devices may be capable of blowing a large hole through your ear drums.

The iPod players are inherently defective in design and are not sufficiently adorned with adequate warnings regarding the likelihood of hearing loss

However, a Louisiana man has decided that being given the mere ability of blowing his ear drums off is reason enough to sue Apple for their iPod.

Are the millions of users of iPod and other musical devices truly that clueless that a large warning sticker needs to be stuck onto the device warning them about playing their music too loud?

This definitely falls into the category of suits against coffee shops for providing hot coffee or gun manufactures for creating weapons that can kill innocent people.

Cheers
