Bush should’ve lost!

CNN.com is running a story about a CNN/USA Today/Gallup poll that claims that President Bush would lose an election if it was held this year. Apparently a poll of Americans find that a majority lack confidence in the President’s tenure thus far.

In the latest poll, 55 percent of the respondents said that they would vote for the
Democratic candidate if Bush were again running for the presidency this year.

My question is, wasn’t this evident in the first four years of his presidency? Did we really have to experience four more to be certain that he was going to foul everything up? The larger question for the future is what will happen once his term ends and the new President takes office? In what state will the relations with the Middle East, China and others lie?

The “war on terrorism” will no doubt be raging on in Afghanistan and Iraq and perhaps other countries that Bush decides he can bully around and use God as an excuse for the attack.

Cheers
