XBox 360 prices
Since the announcement of XBox 360 (XBox2 for people comparing it to the Sony Playstation) people have been trying to get more details about the price of the console itself and all the accessories that go along with it. We finally seem to have some hard prices. The console itself will run you about $399.99, this would include a controller and game ( I hope ). The other accessories are nicely detailed in these sell sheets.
The wireless controller is gonna use the 2.4 ghz frequency, I wonder what sort of interference you might experience if you have either a 2.4 ghz cordless phone or 2.4 ghz wireless networking in your house.
The fact that ALL XBox 360 games will be in HD would be a wonderful thing as I’ve got an HD TV, and with the necessary wiring, I’m sure the games would look awesome.
The only issue is that in addition to the console, you’re going to need a second controller, HDAV cables, storage either in RAM or Hard Drive format and suddenly you’ve dropped $600+ without even thinking about the games yet. Hmm..I wonder how expensive the PS3 is gonna be?
