Verizon Lacks The Latest Phones
Cingular made waves some months ago by being the exclusive retailer to carry the Motorola RAZR V3 phones. T-Mobile has now announced that they’re also going to carry the RAZR.
This lead me to think about what phones my current provider, Verizon, is carrying and I have to say it’s quite a pathetic list of phones that aren’t anywhere near as cutting-edge as Cingular or T-Mobile.
I’m not talking about phones with have large megapixel cameras or anything, just phones that have bluetooth capability would be a start. I found that Verizon is offering two or so phones with bluetooth while Cingular has virtually half a dozen.
I used to have a Sprint phone for a long time because initially they had the best national calling plan. Verizon stepped up to the plate and began offering competitive national plans and their local coverage was better than Sprint who had serious holes in local coverage.
I think I’m running the course of my relationship with Verizon and might have to switch to Cingular just to get a good phone. When will Verizon catch up?
Cheers
