A Gift Afterall

There have been many stories about what might have transpired after Patriots owner Robert Kraft showed his Super Bowl ring to Russian President Putin, but a news release on the Patriots website puts the matter to reset.

I decided to give him the ring as a symbol of the respect and admiration that I have for the Russian people and the leadership of President Putin.

Said Robert Kraft in the announcement.

To a businessman who already has 2 rings and 3 Lombardi trophies in his teams display case, this would seem like a very appropriate and smart business move regardless of how big of an issue more stories have made it out to be.
