My new toy

After looking around for quite a while, I’ve finally settled on a new digital camera to replace my broken Kodak DC280 (2 MP) and my wife’s ancient Olympus D-460 (1.3 MP).

We picked up the Fujifilm E-550, a 6.3 MP camera. We got a great deal on it and decided to pick it up before our trip to India so we can get accustomed to using it.

After my very cursory glance through the manual turns out there’s quite a lot you can do to ensure that the pictures are what you want and playing around with various settings like AF and AE can actaully get you nice pictures, who would’ve thought.

This might prompt me to take my camera with me once again and shoot whatever I fancy and post here, who knows.
