One B for another

ESPN.com reports that the New England Patriots have signed Monty Beisel to a two-year deal to cope with the possibility of Tedy Bruschi sitting out the 2005 season.

The Patriots are pretty well stacked up at the linebacker position, but a little more security never hurt when playing the 3-4 defense.
