Wedgie is a noun

The term ‘wedgie’ has been well known to kids but has always been outside the realms of dictionaries. But no longer. Webster’s New World College Dictionary has added this and a handful more to it’s pages.

The Webster’s dictionary describes ‘wedgie’ as:

wedgie: noun. A prank in which the victim’s undershorts are jerked upward so as to become wedged between the buttocks.

The other interesting words that have been added to the dictionary include blog, cargo pants and, of course, Al Qaeda.
