Trust not Microsoft!
Most travelers in the United States use either Mapquest or Yahoo! Maps to get directions. Microsoft provides it’s own service called Mappoint. which sent some Norwegians on a “round-the-world” trip when asked for directions between Haugesund and Trondheim.
The story on CNet says that Mappoint provided a route that would have taken the travelers through Belgium, England, France, Germany and Sweden to make it a 1,685-mile trip.
Fear Micro$oft in all it’s variations.
