The Patriot

The Patriot was released in 2000 and I didn’t get a chance to see it in the theaters then. I did, however, grab the DVD and watched it recently and have to say that it’s quite a good film. The movie depicts life during the revolution against the British and in doing so captures the era beautifully. The movie includes happy and sad moments, and of course, many war scenes. But none of these pieces feel out of place.

I highly recommend this movie, even to the timid hearted.
