Plugin: Auto ‘more’

I wrote this plugin quickly in response to a request in the Wordpress forums. It takes a large post without any Wordpress <!–more–> tags and inserts the tag after the first paragraph. This has the effect of shortening the post on the home page while allowing the whole post to be visible when you view the full contents.

There are still quite a few things that are missing from this plugin, and so I might work on it as I get the time.

Installation

1. Download Auto More 0.2.
2. Change the extension from .phps to .php.
3. Upload the file to /wp-content/plugins on your webhost.
4. Activate the plugin from the admin panel.

Todo

1. Close open tags in the first paragraph.
