And so comes the snow

Unlike the past couple of years any accumulating snow has come late this year. But we had a small storm system move through last night that deposited some snow that reminded me how terrible driving amongst scared drivers is going to be.

Every year, drivers wait to be frightened out of their skulls by some near-death experience before they realize that driving in the snow can be quite dangerous if you get complacent about it. Once they get scared, they drive extremely slowly and the other reason it seems that people drive slowly is past any broken down cars they think were involved in an accident. Morbid curiosity gets the best of us I guess.
