Remember to reboot?
Most Microsoft Windows users are intimately familiar with the need to reboot their machines often enough to keep things from blowing up. It seems that the SoCal air traffic controller authority upgraded their Unix systems for Windows, forgot to reboot the machines every 30 days and learned the hard way what happens when you rely on MS products.
When will people learn that MS is not reliable enough for mission critical applications. Managing airplanes in the air seems mission critical enough to me!
Read the story here.
Cheers
