Pats training camp!

The New England Patriots opened their training camp in preparation of the 2004 season today. They will now attempt to retain the title of Super Bowl champs title. After winning the title 3 years ago, they were unable to retain the title. Let’s hope that they fair better this time around.

A couple of key positions to watch this season will be the coveted running back position, where Corey Dillon has been added to the roster. This is a big time runner for a team that has lacked for since the departure of Curtis Martin and the bust of Robert Edwards. Let’s hope that Corey can ease our trouble here.

The other position to look at is the nose tackle position previously occupied (or is that encompassed) by Ted Washington. Washington was traded during the off-season to the Raiders. With the Pats’ 3-4 defensive scheme, the NT position is extremely important.

Go Pats!

Cheers.
