Paycheck

I recently bought and watched this movie starring Ben Affleck, Uma Thurman and Aaron Eckhart. It is a futuristic movie surrounding the life of Michael Jennings (Affleck) and how things go horribly wrong when he lusts after a large Paycheck.

It is a nice combination of action and suspense. Being directed by John Woo, it has a lot of the cliched gun battles that Woo seems to scatter in his movies. None the less, the story is quite interesting in it’s unraveling.

The story is told by way of discovery, both by the audience and Jennings. This lends no foresight to the audience and thus keeps them involved in the story telling.

This is a worthwhile movie to rent or own.
